Zeta Beta Tau Builds Homes with Habitat for Humanity
Boulder, Colorado – On Saturday February 12th, 2011 the Zeta Beta Tau chapter at the University of Colorado lent a helping hand to Habitat for Humanity.
Fifteen brothers spent their Saturday in Commerce City where they helped build houses with Habitat for Humanity. At the build site there were four houses, each at different stages of their construction. Eight of the brothers spent their time constructing a roof on one of the structures. Five brothers established the base of the unit, and assisted in constructing the walls of another unit. The other two brothers installed insulation and attached siding on the outside of the house.
In total, the brothers gave one hundred and twelve hours of community service. They look to continue their work in the community as they are currently planning a clothes drive throughout the Greek system where they plan to collect and donate one hundred pounds of clothes to the needy

Zeta Beta Tau Makes Miracles
Boulder, Colorado
The Zeta Beta Tau chapter at the University of Colorado handed over a donation of $2,214.24 to Children’s Miracle Network on Monday December 6th 2010.
Buffbowl, a flag football tournament between all of the University of Colorado fraternities helped to raise the funds and awareness for a great cause. The tournament was held Halloween weekend and the chapter has been working diligently since, raising additional funds from parents and alumni.
Molly Oliver, Children’s Miracle Network Coordinator, was on hand to talk about the organization and receive the funds. With an initial $1,000 goal, Molly stated, “I was shocked to see the final amount.”
Thank you to all of our great supporters and congratulations to Sigma Alpha Epsilon for another Buffbowl victory.
Children’s Miracle Network is the fundraising and awareness arm of more than 170 children’s hospitals. http://www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org/
*The ZBT chapter also placed first in this year’s Chi O Karaoke while raising $1,967 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
